BFCHS Book Club meets twice a month to discuss books that the members have selected for their reading enjoyment.
Once a month we have lunch themed to the book we’re reading.
This year we are reading an assortment of books with various themes reflecting the personalities and interests of our group.
We have attended Moscow Ballet’s “The Great Russian Nutcracker” in Regina, held an overnighter to discuss a book and watch movies made from books, and we’ve read and critiqued a youth book manuscript by a Saskatchewan author – we had lunch with her and responded to her questions and inquiries- sharing our opinions of the story and how it’s crafted. This was a very exciting process – we are very grateful to her for her request that we do this for her!
