A Public Health nurse provides immunization, health counselling, and health information for the students. If you want to see the nurse, contact the school office or the Public Health Office at 332-3300.
IMMUNIZATION
The regular immunization program offers the booster for tetanus, and diphtheria (Td) for all Grade 8 to 12 students and the Hepatitis B vaccine to all Grade 6 students free of charge. Consent forms for the regular immunization will be sent home with students.
The Regina Qu’Appelle Health Region is offering the Hepatitis B vaccine to students Grade 8 to Grade 12. To take advantage of this offer, you can contact the school secretary who will have Hepatitis B information sheets and consent forms available. There is a charge of $51.00 per student for this vaccine. Receipts will be issued for income tax purposes. Please make your cheque or money order payable to the Regina Qu’Appelle Health Region. NO CASH WILL BE ACCEPTED. Return the consent form and payment to the school secretary.
