Regina Trades & Skills
Are you in grade 12? The Regina Trades & Skills Centre is now registering students for the 12 to Trades Program. This is an excellent opportunity to transition into the trades.
You must register at www.rtsc.org after February 3, 2017.
Career Spotlights provide an opportunity for interested Grade 10-12 students to spend a day getting "first hand" information about a specific career area. Presenters indicate to students what they do in their jobs, why they got involved in their profession and what they perceive to be the challenges and the rewards. These students then are involved in an activity, which demonstrates some aspect of the presenter's work world.
Permission forms can be found at http://www.rdiec.ca/ or from the Career Services Office
Career Connections provide an opportunity for interested Grade 10-12 students to obtain entry level skills and industry recognized safety training certification over the course of multiple session. Students receive an introduction to the career area and basic skills development as well as basic First Aid, CPR, and SCOT training.
If you are interested in attending any of the Career Connections please see Ms. McFarlen or visit http://www.rdiec.ca/ for more information.
