October -  UNICEF Fundraising - This year our school  held a Smartie Jar Guess where students had to guess the number of Smarties in the jar.  Mia W. was the winner with a guess of1339 - there were actually 1335 Smarties in the jar.  Good guess Mia!

We were able to forward the proceeds of the Smartie Jar Guess in the amount of $75.00 to UNICEF.

KLS Book Fair - October 16 - 20  - Our book fair was a terrific success.  We sold $1265.00 in product which means that we will receive $594.55 in free books.  Thank you to Mrs. Deiter for all her hard work with the book fair and to our parents for the amazing support.  Thank you.

November 29 - Kennedy Langbank Staff and students raised $45.00 in support of "Movember" and their initiatives to support men's health.

December - Charity Gift Table - We were able to raise a total of $238.00 at our Charity Gift Table this year.  This amount will be forwarded to the Kipling and District Food Bank to support their programs in the Kipling area.  Thank you to everyone who donated items or supported our fundraising endeavour in any way!

Our sales total was $508.60.  Special thanks to Mrs. Deiter for all her hard work in organizing, setting up and taking down the book fair and her helpers Mrs. Harcourt, Mrs. Decelle and Mrs. Singleton.

Wake-A- Thon -  Our Annual Wake-A-Thon was held Friday May 4th from 3:30 p.m. until 1:00 p.m. Saturday May 5th. This year twenty two  grade four to seven  students participated by collecting pledges from friends and family.  This year our students raised $3,065.95 which will be forwarded to STARS Air Ambulance in support of their work  transporting and assisting sick patients who need specialized, and often life saving health services.  Thank you once again to our fantastic students, parents, families and our surrounding communities.  We continue to be thankful for your amazing generosity!
