Fort Qu'Appelle Elementary Community School Receives Mosaic School Nutrition Challenge

The funds will be used to support the purchase of two large freezers to support their well-rounded nutrition program and food safe handling training for families.

"Coming together in community through food is a commonality in all cultures and supports our school and division goals of mental health and wellbeing, as well as belonging,” says Principal Lindy Olafson. “This grant allows us to bring together our families and school through reciprocal benefits as we work together to support our students."

This win marks the sixth time a Prairie Valley School has received this funding to support student nutrition in their school, including a previous win for Fort Qu'Appelle Elementary!
